The new production building has been finished in only two months construction period. It now complements our existing production halls and warehouses. Using modern technology for heating such as activating the concrete cores has already shown significantly positive results. It is much more efficient then our former heating system based solely on hot air. And, instead of being just blown into the air, the new system the heat is now exactly where we need it, thereby saving energy and costs. A total of 7,500 metres of pipelines were installed in the concrete ground, forming different heating circles. With its thickness of app. 30 cm (incl. substructures) the core stores the heat for several days.
What is still missing is the fourth solar arrangement which is supposed to produce a part of the power our company needs. The installation is planned for the end of November and will then complement our already existing solar arrangements.
Stock availability of PP-EL-s
The market trend in the direction of PP-EL-s becomes clearer and clearer. Numerous inquiries, advertisings and requests of our customers underline this.

The mentioned articles are – from now on – available to our customers.

New production building
It was not to be thought quite simply to find a building contractor that wanted to build for us a triangular production hall. Unfortunately, most building contractors were only in the situation to build standard –quadrangle halls. But standard is not that what we want to be!
1360 m ² large and 10 m high, the new production hall completes the already existing production halls and warehouses, built after strict environmental directives with the best warmth-isolating walls and windows. Linked to the weight-bearing steel construction steel props jut out of the roof isolation, this will carry our fourth photovoltaic installation which will supply the new production hall with stream. As a heating a power-saving concrete core activation serves in the ground which should be pursued in future about own total energy unit.

The 3rd Photovoltaic equipment
Energy autonomy, energy efficiency, energy saving has made the company HoKa to its own job.
2 years ago, nobody of us would have thought that we can generate the whole stream for our enterprise on our own roof surface. The sun is not writing any invoices to us for the stream which we need daily in the production of our products and in the office.
On the 15th of April, 2011 our 3rd photovoltaic equipment with 99 kW went on line. Briefly we were near to cover with all 3 photovoltaic equipment the whole stream need of one year of the company HoKa. Nevertheless, by sales increases and a higher product variety in the course of this year our stream need also rose continuously. Now we plan to reach the installation of photovoltaic equipment No. 4 and 5 on our industrial roofs to achieve finally net parity.
With which energy do we want to live? With which energy can we live? Regardless of the events in Japan the company HoKa has made its decision for itself. As an environmental enterprise which products are recyclable to 100%, we have completely made the step to the renewable energy to make also our power demand to 100% renewable.

Hennef in 2010 … The company HoKa Ges. für Lüftungsformteile aus Kunststoff mbH invested in many different areas throughout 2009 and 2010. The aims within the enterprise are the constant improvement of the quality, service and not least to create new innovative products.
The main investments have been made in the area of the production. Here were put up 4 new production lines of injection molding, with a closing pressure up to 900 tons of the company Engel Austria GmbH, Ludwig-Engel-Strasse 1, 4311 Schwertberg in Austria. The capacities thereby became enlarged, the quality and flexibility have been improved and not least the delivery times have been reduced.
Today the numerous new products which are needed in the airing industry can be produced. The main factor now is the possibility to produce airing formed parts of the materials PVDF and PP EL - s.
Other investments were effected in tools for the machines of injection molding - here it is the aim to hold the quality of the products on a high state, or to develop further.
For 2011 further investments are already in planning. E. g. the enlargement of the warehouse capacity.
Because the philosophy is:
„High quality on the fastest way“
